Wow has this summer flown by. It seems like two weeks ago I was packing my bags to go to Edale and on Monday I will be heading off to interview Stephen Tobolowsky of Glee at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. August is quickly closing but not without lots of brilliant opportunities.
We have secured more than fifteen new interview subjects, many of whom are listed as part of the top 100 Practising Scientists in the UK by the Science Council. Folks like the mathematician Dr. Nira Chamberlain, the chemical innovator Lee Cronin, sports scientists, professors at Oxford, have all gotten in touch to be interviewed. The next three months are going to be packed with travel around the UK.
The next section we will be tackling to find interviewees for the project will be YA authors. To that end, Lucy Coats who recently wrote the YA novel Cleo, a fictional account of Cleopatra’s teenage years, has already agreed to come on board, with more sure to follow.
As always, if you know of some great people who have achieved amazing things, be it getting out of bed in the morning, raising a child as a single parent, or the typical achievements which attract the public eye, please get in touch.
